Stay Informed with Meeting Recap Notifications
Missed a meeting? No problem! Teams now sends Meeting Recap Notifications directly to your Activity feed. These recaps include links to:
- Recordings and transcripts.
- Meeting notes and shared files.
This ensures you’re always up-to-date, even if you couldn’t attend the meeting.
Enhanced Control for Meeting Organizers
Admit Attendees with Ease
Scheduling meetings just got more secure. Organizers can now decide who has the authority to admit attendees from the lobby, ensuring controlled access and reducing interruptions.
Copilot Improvements
- Copilot now considers meeting chat content, along with the transcript, to provide more relevant responses.
- Organizers can control when and for how long Copilot is available in meetings.
These enhancements make Copilot a more reliable and customizable virtual assistant during meetings.
View Meeting Recap in Outlook
After a meeting ends, you can now access a detailed summary in Outlook. This includes a link to the recap, notes, transcripts, shared files, and more. Collaboration has never been more integrated between Teams and Outlook.
Crystal-Clear Calls with Voice Isolation
Mac users can now enjoy Voice Isolation, a feature powered by AI that filters out background noise during Teams calls and meetings.

Turn Off Event Emails

- Allow attendees to upvote questions, making it easier to highlight popular queries.
- Organizers can filter and sort questions by upvotes or keywords.
- In recurring meetings, old questions can be archived to keep the discussion feed fresh and relevant.

Optimized Channels and Files Experience
Rename the General Channel
Teams now lets you rename the General channel in your team to better reflect its purpose or function. This makes navigation easier for everyone in the team.
Recommended Channels for New Members
New team members will now see recommended channels curated by team owners, ensuring they can quickly engage in the most relevant conversations.
Files Tab Becomes Shared
The "Files" tab in chat has been renamed to Shared. It now serves as a hub for all content shared in the conversation, including files, recordings, and web links.
Visual and Language Enhancements
Multiple Image Display
When sending multiple images in a chat or channel, they now appear side-by-side on the same line. You can easily navigate through them or remove individual images by hovering over them.
Translation Direction Switching
Interpreters can now switch translation directions during Teams meetings. This feature supports real-time bilingual translation, making multilingual discussions more dynamic and seamless.
Immerse Yourself in New Spaces with Mesh
